Yes, we may be closer to the peak of interest rates than people think. The market expects one more increase late this year, but beyond that there may not be any more.I have five stars! This doesn't mean that I know anything about any of the things I post. I could be a raving lunatic, or a brilliant genius, or just some guy on the internet. In fact, I could be all three at the same time.
If anything I say makes sense, then do it. If not, don't. Don't blame me or my stars if you do something stupid because I suggested it. I'm responsible for my own stupidity only. You are responsible for yours.

Well, some of the recent statistics indicate the economy is slowing. The fact is, interest rate changes take a little time to work through (other than the psychological effect), and there have been quite a few. Probably the economic slowdown from the first 2-3 hikes is only now taking effect, and it is possible there won't be any more.I have five stars!
