Thanks, I was only saying about getting one of these the other day. Great price, now I can warrant buying it.:T
  • Just be aware that although these have 4 feeding compartments you can only feed one cat/dog at a time as it only reveals one compartment. They are also huge so if you have two pets you'd need two which takes up loads of floor space in a small kitchen!

These are big and ugly, but have had one for a few years and wouldn't be without it for the odd times we have to leave the cat in the house overnight. You can record your voice so that the machine calls your pet for dinner too! I think we paid £10 for our in lidls, so this seems like a fairly good price now

I was once asked to check in on a friends cats while they went away (to a funeral and it was for a few days) they couldnt get anyone to cat-sit every day so there was one day the cats were reliant on this thing the whole day.

I came to visit/check in on them the follwoing day (two days after the owners had gone away) only to find the food out on display...totally untouched!
The cats were hungry, but I don't think wanted to risk a moving bowl of food- not sure exactly why they wouldn't eat from the bowl, but as soon as I went into the kitchen, they bolted in and awaited their feeding time-

I guess it would depend on how the cat felt about being felt by an automated machine- but don't think it works for all cats!

My sisters cat wont eat out of this either! They got one for when they go away and the cat refuses to eat out of it an would rather go hungry - so we have to go round and feed the cat if they go away!!!! It's so anoying lol :)
