In the law of probablity, is there any way this is just chance?

If not, if you can prove it you will have a case under the Data Protection Act that might clear your debt...
I'll try and explain. Earlier today I made a change to an online account, to pay by credit card. Just a normal change, nothing special. When I logged back in here, just after four and literally back online as well. My attention was drawn to a familiar username ... it was my real name ... it happened weeks back on here when someone posted a letter they said they'd had (new user) containing the same mispelling of my name. Anyway, I went to look and ... the end part of the username contained the expiry date of my card I used earlier, a couple of hours before they'd registered. The thing is that was my name, but the card expiry date as well. In the meantime I have found FOUR trojans on my machine for remote access and allowing hackers to obtain personal details, sites I visit and so on. Effectively viewing what I view.

Earlier I posted in a section of MSE I don't normally post in. Someone new posts and quotes a familiar looking figure ... I've just checked with my bank to just check that figure and it's the same one. The rest of the post was inaccurate, so that's what made me curious and that figure. They logged off once posting it. Or, once they'd known I'd seen it. Exactly like earlier on with the other thing I mentioned and have reported.

I will try and explain further. I had very serious internet stalking which involved a severe level of harassment from someone who has a reputation for doing it online. And they also do it by intmidation mostly. Just letting me know they are around. However, it became so serious before now I had to move away from where I was living because they were doing a lot of things malisciously. It wasn't just online, but outside it too. I wasn't aware of that until a couple of years ago when I discovered it wasn't just me but a few others. You see what this person likes more than anything is to harass people but never actually going over the line. Just enough information, containing specifics that only his victims know so he uses fear. What he did to me was a criminal offense at the time. As with the others he targetted.

I am probably not making much sense. Except I know what to look for when I see it. I have tried not to react to it but lately it has been because I know what it is. And mostly who is doing it. All of the people who were targetted by the tyke tried to get it reported. Some even did get it noticed by the proper authorities but as they are cowardly, they also hide behind anonymous IPs, the usual stuff that bullies use because they are afraid they will get caught.

It's just upsetting me again. And it's bringing all of it back. I don't even know the person, I have never met him. I have tried to ignore it, because it's taken me nearly 3 years to get over what he did to me but I know he is out there, just waiting. I've done nothing wrong to anyone but they made my life very difficult and that is also part of why I am in a terrible state with my debt problems. It's directly because of him that led to the chain of events which led to losing all my money, everything including somewhere to live. He tore my life apart and I don't know if I can tolerate that again.

Okay, sorry, I'm really cracking up with anguish over this. I've tried to put it behind me but I know he's around again because I have been told he is. I tried to report it last time to the proper authorities, like the others did, they didn't want to know.

And now I am scared it's happening again. Sorry for how I sound, the long post. It's just brought a lot of grief back. He just goads, harassess and abuses your personal data. And there is nothing I can do. Sorry for all this, I'm sobbing my eyes out here. I'm sorry. I was torn apart by it before. Because he just went for me, no reason, nothing. It's hard for me to explain because like I said it's taken me months to get over it. My health, my home, my finances. All torn apart by the monster. Made worse because of what I have heard he has done to other people he targets.

And I feel so awful typing all that because of how it makes me feel and what others will think of me. A handful of people know about this, my family doesn't. And I've only been able to confide in those handful of people who witnessed what happened but could do nothing to stop him. It's just I can't go through it again not on top of the rest of it right now. I only escaped before because I had the money to. I don't now.
Just he finds out where I live and so on. Which I am really frightened of.
