ooooh Jim that red looks yummy!!
BBC news....trouble is that this time of year it will be difficult to ascertain flu/hay fever symptoms !
Even more scary after seeing that report!0 -
LOL. Is that man flu/hay fever? Coz there's no mistaking the real thing..
No doubt it is scary. I looked it up the other night. The Mexicans are suffering nearly 400 times the mortality of normal flu (based on small numbers, so care is needed). But they had 80 people die with abot 1,000 diagnosed. Normal mortality is about 25 per 100,000.BSC No 248

Thankyou for those figures LM.....feel even more worried now!!!:eek:
Hehe....man flu !! there`s an epidemic of that EVERY year!!!!
Can I invent `girl flu`.....I think us ladies need to compete in the flu department.
Seriously I have a relative overseas at the moment & it worries me.0 -
I wouldn't worry too much. There simply isn't enough data to know what is going on. 3 people in the millions living in Europe have it and all cases outside Mexico have been 'mild'.
Keep an eye on it, but (outside Mexico) the biggest impact is on column inches at the mo.BSC No 248
