Had a meeting today with my boss and the lady I've had issues with (who happens to be a supervisor) - why I expected her to acknowledge she'd done anything even vaguely wrong I don't know. She's said she can't change (age thing) but seemed to expect me to - which I refused and pointed out the irony of her comment and told her I'm not changing either!! Oh well, it'll all get sorted eventually - I'm going to keep my head down, do my job very well (as normal) then when I find another one and they wonder why - give it too them straight on my last day of course! :rotfl:
I've realised lifes too short to let a*seh*oles annoy me!!!
OK, who's for a drink? Mine's a large cuppa - watching my weight at the moment (think I've lost another 4lb but not weighing myself officially until wednesday morning).
Think i have found it:o and then someWhat with my back/Hip stopping me getting any excersise, and too much drink because of the stress of late:o.
Been AWOL too much of late, so did not now you where having supervisor problems, but her comment would be hillarious in any other situation, i dont know if its my age, but the world, or at least some people in it, seem to make less sense with each passing year:rolleyes:
Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -
:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: group `hug-in` I think......Bat & Late you can take in turns to be in the middle
:D:D:D
Thinking I may try & do self employed....at least I don`t have the stress of some jumped-up 12 year old telling me how to do my job.:rolleyes::D Oh dear I think I am getting old .0 -
Thanks YM. They both said how good I was at my job which was nice to hear - just the rest of the cr*p I can do without. They struggled without me while I was on holiday so be interesting when I go - don't really want to leave my team mates in a mess but they'd understand.
Any way, is this cup ok?BR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500 -

Maybe we should start a BR board oldies club:o:p
Trouble is i think we would all qualify as members, even if we are not that old, going through all this seems to add so many years:eek:Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -

Thanks folks - just needed someone to tell it too! Not had a chance today as the meeting was sort of thrown at me, right near the end of my day and I didn't have time to talk it through with anyone. My 3 year old isn't really interested and I don't want to burden my son.
