Not far, going to near Filey on the coast. Not been to the site before but it comes recommended by several people and was one of the few with a hook up pitch left. I want to take the kids on the North York Moors railway and go for fish and chips in Whitby! :D

Sounds nice. Really must head upwards camping but always seem to go south. Would love to do the peak district or somewhere like that.

You here such stories though once you pass through Watford  :D;)

Well YM, I'm actually a Southerner! Raised in London then spent a long time down on the coast but been 'up North' for a while now and I wouldn't change it - I love it here. I'm going to start exploring more of it now with the kids - just a shame work gets in the way! :rotfl:

Peak district is fab....its on my doorstep & I do many daytrips ( 2-3 miles!!) when I need to clear my mind. Carsington Water/ Matlock/Bakewell/Chatsworth are just lovely.....serious walking country though!!!

Haha...I am in Derbyshire & had a seagull nick my burger once when leaving a local MacDonalds!!!

They were all sat on the lights waiting to pounce !! ...& that was in the middle of the summer. Guess not worth them going back to the seaside these days!!

    Yes YM....noisy beggars indeed!
