the whole point of BR is that it your debt does get written off on the day you go BR!!! and why would you want to get an IVA after Bankruptcy?? This well known company is playing on people's ignorance of how the system works. Grrr!BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -

I agree, wholeheartedly with what you are saying, Don. Most of us, myself included, were inundated with letters offering to 'reverse our bankruptcy' by the use of a 'Full and Final IVA'
In fairness I have to say that it is, in theory at least, possible to get a bankruptcy 'annulled' through an IVA - HOWEVER this can only be done through the Insolvency Service/OR and only if the bankrupt can convince the OR that he/she can 'raise' sufficient funding - usually the full amount claimed through bankruptcy.
Yet another example of the 'Financial Industry' trying to make a profit out of a loss. :mad:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
