My shoulders are going to sting later but at least my hedge looks neat and tidy (keep your mind on gardening lads) and isn't bad for a first attempt - even if I say so myself.

I can remember when all coppers looked like that, phil.
We lived in fear of our local bobby - 'Hotplate' Baker - and the summary justice, usually in the form of a clipped ear, that he would mete out if you were unfortunate enough to get on the wrong side of him.
If we were 'caught' for something more serious - such as 'scrumping apples' then we risked being led back to our dad for some 'real' summary justice.
Very little real crime in our neighbourhood - you could, genuinely, leave your doors unlocked and if it started raining when you were out a neighbour would always take in your washing - didn't iron it though.
Thinking back, though, I'm not sure if those really were 'the Good old Days'.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
