    Yes, I think that's what the film was based on - but I've never seen the play.

    Eddie Waring, rugby league commentator ( and Its a Knockout ) in the 70's and early 80's, used to say it when the player would boot the ball UP into the air and then run to get UNDER it further up the field.
    But it was a film or play or something too I think.
