Are there any recipes for home made diet bread ? Or is it not possible to make it at home ?

Just make normal bread and cut smaller slices

Sorry to be flippant! I can't really see how you could reduce the calories in bread any other way - mine only has a tablespoon of oil and a teaspoon of sugar in it - the only other calories come from the flour...

I have just had a look on Tesco website at the calorie values of the nimble bread and Weightwatchers bread (both 400g) and compared them to the Warburtons wholemeal 400g loaf and per 100g the warburtons wholemeal has fewer cals, but the diet bread is lighter in weight so fewer cals.
In my experience the diet bread is just smaller and more airy. I'm not sure how one would get more air into home made bread. There is a special commercial process in making bread which makes it more "foamy" and would be very difficult to replicate at home.
I first read about it on this forum, and maybe sosmeone will remind me what it is called :D.

    Hi Mrs B,

It's called the chorleywood process. You can read more about it in this thread:
