Hello guys,
I did post this in the discount section but though I'd stick it here too. If you enter the voucher 'e453771eea66' when listing on grabthatonline.co.uk you get the listing free and can be used unlimited times. This code expires end of april though. Also when signing up you get £1 for future listing fees.

I'm sure a discount would be very useful for anyone who has ever heard of the website, so hopefully someone will use it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. so they charge?
never gonna make it0 -
they do charge but they are offering free listing fees when putting in the voucher code.
Unfortunately that puts them way down the stakes then for any hope of getting off the ground. New auction sites start up every week, many get posted on here and then go off and die a few months later. Anyone entering a very crowded market needs a real hook to get people, or a niche to take part of an untapped market.
Realistically these micro sites are not attempting to take business from ebay, instead they are aiming at the other established sites like ebid. However ebid is well established, has been going for many years and had a no listing fee policy so that puts a competitor out of the running straight away.
I fear this will be another site we won't hear of after this thread.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. All new auction sites seem to think that targetting sellers which cheap access is the key to success.
It's not. Far from it.
Sellers are more interested in potential buyers than fees, but it's only eBay that seem to be actively reaching out to get new/more buyers at the moment. Guess where I'm spending the bulk of my time and effort?<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

That is a very good point. However what if you have limited sellers? Then there really is no need for buyers...0 -
I wont spend precious time listing on a site which has absolutely no evidence of having any customers.
Once upon a time when there was one market the buyers came to the sellers, now there is multiple and the sellers go to the buyers.0
