Tesco's Wine Deals 3 for £10

Hi Everyone,
I wonder if someone can advise me on Tesco's policy for over charging?
I popped into our local Tesco today to get 6 bottles of wine, the signs state Any 3 for £10 but in the National Papers it says 3 4 £10 or 6 4 £19. I carefully chose 6 bottles along with a few other bits & went to the tills, When the total came up it seemed too high & I questioned the wine deal & she said that it was fine & had gone through! I paid & the before leaving checked my bill & it seemed 3 had gone through on the deal & the other 3 hadn't! I headed to CS & was told that it was my fault as I hadn't got all the same wine! I argued the fact that it said ANY 3 bottles on the deal & she still wasn't having any of it! She then called a Manager of some sort who took me back to the wine isle to check that I had indeed chosen the right wines, all were indeed included but there was a problem with the product number so it wasn't regestering on the till. He then took me back to CS & told them to refund me. As he left the SA on CS began to argue again that infact the manager was wrong & that I shouldn't be getting a refund :mad::mad:......then after arguing with her again she refunded me a strange random amount (£6.??) & let me go!
What I want to know is......should she have refunded me double because I was overcharged? Also am I right that ANY means that you can mix & match?
Sorry for the long winded post but I don't shop at Tesco very often so I'm not sure of their R & R's
Thanks in advance

You can mix any of the wines that are marked up as 3 for £10. I think the 6 for £19 would be taking into account the 5% discount you get for buying 6 bottles.
Tesco state that they refund double the difference if you are overcharged but some stores don't like to give it, so if you were charged £15 for your 3 bottles they should refund you £10.0 -

Thanks Sprogs,
I thought this was the case but the SA on CS was a so rude I was a bit worried about asking her! I will have to go back anyway as I have just noticed that I have left me Visa Card at the CS desk :mad::mad:. I will go back today & see what they say!

Make sure you get the SA's name as you can lodge a formal complaint with Head Office if you so wished! If the manager has ok'd the refund then the SA chouldn't have had anything further to say! And yes, double the difference back if you hav been over charged!0
