I buy a huge tub of Kirkland washing powder from Costco for about £11.00 and this last me 9/10 months! That is for me and my 12 year old twins, so washer is on every day.
(Just seen 1980babe's post, thought it was about £11.00 but £14.99 still good for so many washes!)Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
I've been stocking up on this at Morrisons too (Surf small & mighty) the 'tropical' scented one (pink & white bottle) smells lovely!
got some yesterday normally is 2.69 for the small 18wash one. i put off buying some hoping for an offer and it came up in Mr T's!!
i looooove the smell of it, plus its handier to use instead of a big box and powder spilling everywhere

I use half washing tablets and half soda crystals, they are only aroung 56p per kilo (available in most supermarkets).
Soda crystals are also OK to use if you have a septic tank.0 -

I'm so glad I bought 2kg at the beginning of the year now!
Mind you, the only other place I've seen them round here is the independant cheap shops at 99p per kilo, but it's still a price hike:mad:0
