Selling books... places other than Amazon or ebay

Hiya,
I have a MILLION books. I want to get rid of them and hopefully earn a bit of spare change whilst I'm at it.
Currently in a bit of a dispute with my bank so that when I registered with Amazon kept declining my card. This is my only account that I use and usually works. Ironically I'm not even trying to take money out but put it in.
Are there any other places online I can list books? I've got a lot of old university text books that would be of use to other people rather than me. I can't do any carboot sales however as I don't have a car or anyway of getting any stuff to one.
Thanks guys

Realistically if you can't use ebay or Amazon you have taken away the two most likely places to make sales. For cheaper lighter books youcould try http://www.greenmetropolis.com/ but the sales there are slow and the prices are capped. I have approx 15o books listed on greenmet and maybe make 1 sale a month if I am lucky.
There is Playtrade, but again I think you need to register a card.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I know the trade is slow and you will never make millions from it (unless of course you really do have millions of books!) but I really like greenmetropolis to sell on as it gives 5p of all sales to the woodland trust. So if you're not normally in a position to donate to charity that's quite nice.
Also they will keep your funds stored on the website for you and you can then cash that in to your pay pal or use it to buy more books.
I find them pretty good for selling on my old uni books, and I like the idea that they will be going to other students at a knock down rate as well.
Good luck selling!0 -
Have a look at List Books on the internet. I have only just found it but it seems like a really easy site to use.
Take a look

Oooh I like the sound of Green Metropolis and List Books sounds interesting.
I've got a LOT of books, so what I'll try is list a few on each and see which ones better. Thanks guys!Lloyds CC: £5150.73

Try play.com too - though they take a fee and you have to take postage out of your earnings. You can list upto a 100 books.
The fee to play reduces if you apply to become a protrader - abt £20. This isnt worth it for me as i dont sell enough.
I have my books listed across Greenmet, Play and Amazon, depending on which site offers the better return for the book.0
