    Really, really pleased with this :j. Cooked chick peas this morning - the packet says they would take 1.5 hours simmer time + 10 mins rapid boiling on the stove top. Took 25 mins in my 750w microwave. There's a valve thing on the top that sorts the pressure out.

    I will buy dried pulses rather than tinned in future and this will save me loads. It will also be useful for cooking small quantities of rice - I have a rice cooker but it's a minimum of 4 portions for cooking (which is fine because I can freeze the rest, but it's useful to be able to cook smaller quantities).
