More the merrier! I sometimes pop in to the Taunton boots too, they seem to have odd bits of clearance all over the shop!!sunshine01 wrote: »Hi
Would it be okay if I join in, I only joined MSE a month or so ago and still finding so many new things on the forum, but for the last few weeks have found myself making regular visits to Boots board. So this is my very first post on a forum.0 -

Welcome, Sunshine010 -
If anyone's near the York Coppergate store, there's 2 x half priced Hand Saviour's on clearance. Tucked away at the back nowThey had reduced foundations too - I didn't bother tucking those away for any MSE'er 'cos there was quite a few
Oooh, you lucky-lucky thing! Not only do you live in God's country by the sound of it (Yorkshire, for anyone that may not know this!!) but half price hand saviours, too - I lurv this stuff and at half price it wouldn't be quite such a silly price. I remember someone on here - Sally06 perhaps - saying that S*p*rdr*g had a similar scrubby thing by Nulon for a teeny-tiny price, but I haven't been able to find any near me (the soft south I'm afraid!)
Hope some lucky Bootser picks up your kindly secreted Hand Saviours - you:A0 -
Mini Mode 20% can also be used with the PC 10% voucher although this only seems to take 10% off original price of 1 item ie
Trousers £12 reduced to £6
Top £8 reduced to £4
-£1.20 (10% off trousers)
-£4 (20% of 2 items)

Hello Bootsers,
I haven't really been able to contribute too much to this thread over the last couple of weeks, as I haven't been Bootsing. I remedied that today.
Derby Westfield was first, used my magic 3 vouchers on the SS tills - no beeps :T!
So got the glyco peel £17.60, line lift £12.72, illuminating powder £10, and No7 awakening eye gel £7.80, for the grand total of £6.60 (plus I used a skincare 250 pointer, so really only £4.10 in Boots logic).
I thought it wasn't going to work at first, because my line lift voucher just wasn't scanning at all. But I had another one from the acm earlier in the day, so I used that one, it worked fine. Looking at the first one, it appears the barcode may be missing a bit (the print is finer, and maybe the ink needed filling up on the acm when I printed it). With my pooey from my first shop I got a Bourjois glass file, 93p to pay.
Westfield clearance was carp, but on the end of the Extracts aisle, they had a whole shelf end with loads of really cheap clearance Mediterranean prices. Unfortunately, there was hardly anything actually on the shelves - I got a couple of full size body washes for 98p each though. Still Vichy GWP here too.
The Wyvern had no clearance at all really, but on the last chance to buy No7 (which has been full of the same kind of stuff at the same prices since about January ) I found the minerals GWP for £4, all prettily packaged up with half a dozen P&P sample sachets, so I treated myself to that with my points.
Next was Nottingham Vic Centre - no clearance anywhere, lots of GWPs though, Vichy, L'oreal white bag, Olay purple box and the recent green box, putting sets, no MF recent ones though.
I bought a meal deal (with a huge bag of Maltesers :rotfl:), and found the NC set of 3 toiletry bags at £2.45 (on the normal shelves, with the reduced SEL). Also bought some Hannah Montana perfume for DD's birthday (half price, £3.99), some 17 wipes at 99p, and a free 17 nail polish. Split these into 2 shops, so got 2 more pooeys.
On my way home, I stopped at Riverside, where I spent a pooey on Bourjois pink tweezers, and bought a Boots roll-on deodorant for 69p, used acm voucher for 50 points on the SS tills there, no problem.
Sorry for the long post, but I haven't been Bootsing for ages, and I'm a very happy bunny now, surrounded by my Boots goodies:D.
