i have used the £5 voucher on the mens Loreal..both times SA had to overide the till though as wouldnt scan..Just depends how nice SA is I suppose;) Am thinking of a new one:beer:0

I got a lovely SA (for the first time in ages) today! :j She tried to get my vouchers to work for me, even when the till said "No"! The ACM doesn't love me at the moment, though!! The only offer was for some Hayfever tablets or an eye test!! No "Beauty" offers at all! I did empty the machine of every voucher it gave me a couple of weeks ago, though, so it seems to be getting its revenge!! I now have several vouchers for 17 Nail Varnish, Boots Ingredients Body Butter & Stay Perfect Foundation vouchers which are looking to go on holiday to somewhere else in the UK? I'm looking for a Highlights voucher to do a "foreign exchange" with............!;)
I was speaking to a No 7 SA on Sunday, who said the current "3-4-2" ends at the end of the month! I only realised this evening that, if she's right, that means the last day is tomorrow!!! :eek:I hope she was wrong!
I managed to get a few bargains in a small store this evening, but not the real things I was after. I tried to use a Glycolic Peel voucher along with the £5 No 7 but the till said "no" - I was trying to buy a Rainforest Stay Perfect Eyeshadow Trio @ £4.65 & a Stayperfect Lip Laquer (SEL was full price but it was one of the old-style, with the clear gloss at the end - it went through at £4.65, if anyone wants them!) so I hadn't spent a full £10 on cosmetics, & therefore the £5 off wouldn't work & it came to £13.** for the 3 items. A bargain overall, but I decided I was only buying them for the sake of it, so I left them. I really need the Highlights voucher!
Spotted a few clearance labels around the store, but not much to report. There was a small shelf unit with some No 7 (appeared full price suncare) but there were a few Pink/Peach Petal lip glosses at £4.** & the pastel eyeshadow quad (can't remember what its called - from the same time as the lipglosses) @ £5.** I also picked up some Amazing Eyes Eyeliner (the ones with the smudgers at the end) which were £1! Also on 3-4-2!
Nothing in the way of reduced footcare, apart from a solitary pack of Scholl gel cushions with silver glitter in for £1. Lots of reduced minis - FCUK especially.
Got two shops, to maximise the savings & earn £5 skincare vouchers:
Shop 1
3 x Slimfast £1.35 each (3-4-2)
Scholl Party Feet Starlight Gel Cushions £1 (rrp £4.79)
Time Delay Instant Lip Plumper £7.82 (used Binnie, so £2.82)
2 x Sanctuary Moisture Boost Mask 44p (rrp £1.75)
FCUK Pure Mini Bodywash 57p (rrp £2.25)
FCUK Pure Mini Body Spray 57p (rrp £2.25)
Paid £8.66 (plus Binnie)
Actual Total £24.66
Therefore saved £16.00 & earned another Binnie!
Shop 2
3 x No 7 Amazing Eyes Pencil £1 each (rrp £7.**)
BJ So Laque Nail Varnish £5.37 reduced to £3.37 (used a Poohie, so £1.37)
NC Strawberry Bath Pearls 60p (rrp £2.49)
FCUK Mini Pure Showerscrub 57p (rrp £2.25)
FCUK Mini Polished Whipped Bodycream 57p (rrp £2.25)
FCUK Mini Polished Sugar Scrub 57p (rrp £2.25)
FCUK Mini Polished Body Spray 57p (rrp £2.25)
2 x FCUK Mini Hair Clay 44p each (rrp £1.75 - think I missed out on a 3-4-2 here!!)
Paid £7.13 (plus Poohie)
Actual Total £41.36
Therefore saved £34.23 & earned another Binnie!
So, in summary, spent £15.79, saved £50.23, earned 2 x Binnies & 50pts!
Hope this new No 7 P&P is as good as its cracked up to be! I might invest some points in it. I need something good for my forehead, without resulting to Botox!! Slightly OT, but has anyone else used the Time Delay Moisturiser with the gradual tanning in it? I've been using it for 2 months & its made no difference to me, not a teeny-tiny hint of colour! And I'm really pale skinned. Have I just got a faulty one?
TIA

Where have they moved the clearance to in Queensgate?0 -
There is a very tiny clearance near the tills in Queensgate not worth bothering about really. The things I usually find are on the main shelves but with reduced SEL,s.
Serpentine Green clearance is a little better but i still find my best buys on the shelves with reduced SEL,s. Hope that helps.Be Lucky Everyone0 -

Hi
Sorry to snip but I just thought I'd say that I don't think I'll bother carrying on using my Time Delay moisturiser, then. I have only used it a couple of times but it made my face sooooooo shiny! I hated it, but thought it might be worth it if it turned me a wonderful golden colour!! LOL!0 -
I think the Time Delay Moisturiser has given me a little colour but I know what you mean about the shine. However I do think it settles down after 10-15 mins.Be Lucky Everyone0

Just popped into local small Boots & they had the Mens l'Oreal Wrinkle decrease reduced 50%- 75% on some lines! Tried to get 2 x W D Skin refiner (face scrub!) for £6....Use new £5 voucher & pay £1...........Till & S A so Nooooo!!!! Voucher does NOT say Excludes Mens! Tried to argue the fact but no go! Has anyone had any luck getting these? I'm wondering if its worth phoning C/S!..........Doesn't seem fair that men can't use their vouchers on products for themselves!:mad::mad:
Dx
i ran c/s when the last skincare voucher was out complaining it was not working on mens loreal wrinkle decrease and they ended up giving me some points so def worth ringing mind you i had to speak to a manager and argue a LOT lol she did tell me that after hte make up one voucher there would be another skincare one which men can use...so much for that lol0 -
I haven't got any hint of colour with my time delay moisturiser either - I haven't noticed any shine though. Funny though, I had one a few months ago, and that seemed to work well0

does anyone know if you can use vouchers if you exchange something? because i want to buy some maxfactor makeup, 342, but want to exchange an item that's £10.
i would like to use the pooey, the parenting club £2 voucher and £2 off false lash effect mascara.
so i would be paying around £5, because the other 2 maxfactor items i want to buy are around £10.
does anyone know if this will work, or has tried something similar?0 -
Just a reminder that the 50% off select items for all Health Club members ends tomorrow (if what an SA told me and others have reported here is correct). So if there is something you want at 50% off, grab it tomorrow! After that HC is only for those over 60, and even then I *think* they will only get 10% off instead of 50%?0
