  • :cool:Wasted an hour going to all three of my local boots to find some bargains. Didn't buy a single thing! no reduced anything apart from some atheletes foot cream! Anyone got any bargains to report from city center? HTH
  • Hi all,

Just wanted to say thanks to all on this thread for posting all the great offers and glitches and to add my findings from here on Planet Thanet yesterday:

Margate and Ramsgate do not stock the Illuminating powder (SA advised it could only be found in the larger branches) so off I toddled to Westwood Cross, where I was so excited to find:

No 7 Glycolic Peel (only a few boxes on shelf)
No 7 Illuminating powder (about 6 on shelf)
    No 7 P&P handcream

Used 1/2 price peel voucher and free illuminating voucher and 3 for 2 so paid £8.80 for 3 items. Result!

Then found Time Delay Wrinkle Reduce Eye cream £6.84, used £5 skin care voucher leaving £1.84 to pay.

Then found a Bourjois pencil sharpener thingy for £1.95 and used £2.00 voucher (but only took off the £1.95)

And finally, thanks to someone mentioning the footcare stuff on offer, I managed to find Margaret Dabbs Foot soak and Foot oil reduced to £4.90 each but still on Buy 1 Get One 1/2 price so paid £7.35 for the two together. I was amazed at the original price of this stuff - something like £20 PER BOTTLE! I tried it last night and whilst it was very nice and softening, there is no way that I would have paid the full price for this!

In all the excitement I put the whole lot through together instead of splitting it into smaller batches and getting more of the £5 vouchers, but I'll try to remember for next time!

Also, nearly forgot, Ramsgate have several of the NC see through wash bag gift sets for £1.23 and also some Babies dummies in Xmas designs (Maws I think) in packs of 2 for £2.

I used the glycolic peel last night and really like it (just as well as I have another 1/2 price voucher for it!) - it made my skin tingle a little and it does seem a bit brighter, so will continue to use it.

May pop out again on Thursday so will report back any more findings then.

lots of No7 foundations reduced in sedley. Priced at £3.62 and £3.30 also spring pallete at £5.xx and No7 face creams £8.xx. HTHS:D

I got 3 foundations for £1.92 with £5 ACM voucher:jthe till gave me a binnie too:confused:BTW, the reduced items come up at the wrong price on the SS tills. You need to go to a manned till to buy them.

I found the rag doll bags, but they scanned at full price. sel has 'D' written on it, so I guess they will reduce them shortly.

ACM didn't give me anything exciting, but might be of interest to mimi:)
I got: BOGOHP hydro shave gel and BOGOF boots anti-persprant and body sprays for men:D

Hi I have only ever seen them in my local store, by the pharmacy counter. hth.

Ah I didn't think to look there, come to think of it they always have a variety of leaflets there! I shall look when I next go!

Is it sad that upon knowing that I might be going to Bury St Edmunds at the weekend for a 2 day trip I checked the store locater to see if there was a boots there? I'm just very fed up of missing out on nice offers! All you lucky people with the good boots stores have me green with envy! :D

So long as it isn't just me! I've even come up with my argument for why we'd need to go in - we'll be there all weekend so in our long saturday of shopping we'll need food so I'm going to get us two meal deals to keep us going until evening! (Which of course means that I'll have 2 meal deals logged on my acm for the meal deal offer!) :p

Boots seems to have made me more cunning!

Lots of mens 'stuff' reduced today, many but not all items in the Hackett, Ted Baker and FCUK ranges reduced to half price and less and also on 342. All saw a Gillette box, dark blue with a Fusion razor, deodorant and a shaving gel for £4. Some Fish and King of Shave toiletry bags filled with goodies for a fiver - excellent value!

Got a couple of tins of Daktarin AKTIV ice cooling spray for feet reduced to £1.37 and BOGOHP, lets hope the weather stays hot enough to need them:rolleyes:
