:hello: I managed to spend half of today searching for the ellusive (sp??) 32p berry bags... No luck, but I did find lots of reduced cream eggs/caramel eggs :EasterBun so I was happy! :rotfl: I only got the glycolic peel voucher (umpteen times - the ACM machine was acting really oddly and it kept forgetting I had printed them :rotfl:) but no other No 7 ones :(

    Shop 1
    cream eggs 3pk -31p x 3
100g bag mini caramel eggs -26p
    57.5g bag mini cream eggs -14p x 2
    naturaleve lip balm - 62p

    Shop 2
Rainforest No7 eyeshadow pallete - clearance stickered to £2
Sensitive laundry liquid - clearance stickered £1 but was half price with health club so 50p :T

    Shop 3
Mens boots expert sensitive eye cream 50p

    Shop 4
    DKNY Be Delicious shine 100ml - £32 :j

I was speaking to one of the SAs and apparently Rainforest and Pastel shimmer No7 stay perfect eyeshadow pallets (the trio ones) are being discontinued so are now half price.

    For Edinburgh bootsers...

Shandwick Pl had lots of mens products recuced eg mens time delay items between £1 and £3, king of shave stuff £2 and various other mens things. Also PedEggs at £5.
Also for some reason the WHOLE of the No7 stay perfect eyeshadow pallets (the trio ones) are half price according to the printed sign. It was the only one to have this out of all the stores I visited -there were no signs up in the other stores I was in and I price checked a few random ones in several stores but they were full price (apart from the 2 above).

The big Princes Street had loads of perfume reduced (upstairs) - Lots of Kylie/ Britney/J-Lo stuff/SJP covet with a little DKNY stuff - basically 2/3 of the reduced bit is reduced perfume/matching body lotion. SJP Covet is also reduced at the perfume counter downstairs. Also some No7 cheek tint pencils and the same old expensive reduced no17 foundation that have been hanging around for weeks

    Hi everyone,
I'm just coming down from cloud 9 after a really lovely week following my 'big 0' birthday Tuesday!! Back to work tomorrow though
Just wanted to post a couple of my shops since Tuesday as I've been away for a couple of days and am just playing about with my new laptop (a gift from DH!!):j

First I would like to say thanks to Nine Tails and Sally06 for helping me with my shopping in London.:A

On my birthday I went to London and after getting stuck on the circle line we finally found Kensington High Street Boots where I ended up having a mini makeover at the Benefit counter and brought 2 things from them. Saw the clearance stand with the lipshimmers but didn't buy anything for a change :D (probably cause I had spent over £30 on Benefit!!)
DD then took me to Westfields and DD picked up a L'oreal mascara and used MY £2 till spit!! I did manage to get a NC bag in there though for £1.23 so I was happy!!
Then on Wednesday I went to stay in a 4 star hotel near Shrewsbury for a couple of days with DH as a birthday treat and managed to convince him to let me go to the Boots there and I picked up 2 x berry bags at 32p each, Sally Hansen miracle cure nailvarnish for £2.24, Sally Hansen Lip plumping gloss £1.49 (DD no2 has claimed this one), some Revlon Fantasy length false eyelashes for £1.50, Naturaleve sweet lips lip balm for £1 odd and finally not on clearance, but some EA perfume for me. They had quite a few odds and ends on the clearance stand near the tills.
On my way home from our break I managed to convince DH to pop into The Fort shopping centre in Birmingham and I came out with nothing :D which pleased DH but not me!!
So to make up for my disappointing visit in Birmingham DH took me yesterday with my 3 DD's to Stevenage where I headed straight to Boots and picked up a perfume 'Angel' for my mum (for being an Angel while we was away and for helping sort everything out for my birthday :A) and they were doing a promotion where you pick up a free gift if you spend over £35 (I think) on fragrance (selection of stuff to choose from) which I assume was old promotion gifts with perfume sets and I got a lovely glass jewellery box for my mum. I price checked the sally hansen nail varnish and the nivea trio lip glosses but they were still full price but I did manage to get another Sally Hansen lip gloss for £1.49 (no reduced SEL) and a sanex deodorant for 68p and a Boots 24 hour roll on for 18p but I used the 50 points voucher from the ACM and it bleeped but the lovely No7 SA over rode. Saw some old No7 GWP (gold bag, summer 08 palette and mens orange and grey bag for £6.50) but didn't bother with any of them!! Also they had a 'last chance to buy' No7 stand with the palettes, foundation and sun protection but still pretty expensive..
I've managed to get the 1/2 price glyco peel voucher and the free highlighter one but still no sign of the £5 off!!
Anyway I've really gone on in this post... making up for lost time
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I hope the sun shines for the rest of the day!!

I've been to 6 boots in the last week and not found any small berry bags, russian dolls or travel case with bottles :( I did find the case without the bottles for £2.** I visited - Borehamwood, Waterfields, Harlequin, Borehamwood, London Colney and Radlett.
There's a skinny woman inside me screaming to be let out. A cookie soon shuts her up!!! :rotfl:
  • Sounds like you had a Super Duper time Jemclajess! A belated Happy Birthday!

Just to add to the Ped Egg discussion - I bought one a couple of weeks ago from my local market, and it is fantastic. They sell them at £3 each or 2 for £5. I went back & got 2 more for friend's birthdays (they've both mentioned that they have hard skin problems) - and they will also get the S&G Heel Genius as that is my favourite and really works on my feet.

I also noticed in the Avon book this week that they had an equivalent of the ped egg - if was an aqua colour & also had a pumice stone & sponge, in addition to the 'cheese grater' and 'sand paper' that you get on the ped egg as well. I think it was priced at £4.00

(ETA - Just checked on the Avon site - it is called 'ultimate pedicure' & is currently £4, normally £6. Priced at £2.50 for something called 'A-List Gold memebers', whoever they are )
