    Afternoon all,

Had quite a good 'Bootsing' day today :j Visited two stores and managed to get 3 of the Berry Cosmetic purses for 32p, 2 of the NC bags and some clothes for my boys in the sale using the 20% off voucher aswell as a few other essentials and 2 of the new skincare vouchers!

  • The bootsing gods were NOT smiling on me today!! got the new vouchers from the ACM and thought i would be clever and combined it with the line lift voucher (that was the only one had been offered before) didnt realise that it had expired.!! Did it all at the SS tills and worked out afterwards I had paid £11.50 for the Glyco peel, highlighter powder & line lift. A good deal but too much for me to pay for things i didnt really need. So wondered round the store a bit panicking and then went back to the No7 sa to ask if I could take it back as I had had a re think and couldnt really afford it, she was then stood there for the next 10 minutes trying to work it all out, called over a manager who also couldnt understand why it was so cheap! - eventually got out of there red faced and empty handed - wish me better luck for next time.. I obviously have a way to go before I am an expert bootser!!!

The catalogues were near the baby section on the instore ordering point (i think) they were right at the bottom of the stand, they still had quite a few baby clothes reduced when I went in today. I got the NC bags from Wincheap Boots (on the outskirts of Canterbury) where I also got the Berry bags and quite a few baby bits reduced - steady co cups and another beaker. They had random reductions on baby items all over the baby section in Wincheap.

When I was looking at the 17 GWP I didn't get it or buy any 17 items, I was just looking at it, but there were two ladies next to me + one picked up a foundation or something, then she picked up another one, totalling over £6, then their walked away, til I told her to come back + pick up her free 17 GWP :D.. she was over the moon + kept saying thank you to me, as she didn't know, she was very pleased. :j

U should get them both free; I've used a free voucher b4 on a bogof item & both items came free... so no spend & a couple of items free... HTH

Ooh I would say so... there were plenty of us who used had this exact situation with BOGOF maternity range bubble bath at same time as BOGOF parenting club vouchers for same range.:D

BTW, the eye-make up remover vouchers in the complete skincare range are very nice - not oily if you prefer them that way.

James Brown Conditioner 75% off £1.47
James Brown Conditioner - free on 3 for 2
    total: £7.36, received voucher

Am in the process of installing new shower room, so will now have nice posh products to go in it!
The best things I could see for the vouchers were the Roc wipes at £6.49 or the Olay face wash at £5.86ish. I already have lots of wipes and 2 of the washes, so any ideas on how to spend the vouchers are welcome.
Horror of horrors did not have my AC in my bag today (hope I haven't lost it), so don't know if I 'll get the £5 off No 7 voucher.
By the way, noticed that the 250 points on No 7 voucher from GWP has to be used by 26/4, so don't forget to use them if , like me, you still have a few floating around!
  • The bootsing gods were NOT smiling on me today!! got the new vouchers from the ACM and thought i would be clever and combined it with the line lift voucher (that was the only one had been offered before) didnt realise that it had expired.!! I did a similar thing this lunchtime. ACM gave me free Highlighter voucher and £5 off No7 (WYS over £10). I still had an ACM voucher I'd printed a few weeks ago for the line lift. So I thought I;d get a couple of lipsticks I needed anyway, the hightlighter and line lift, hoping the hightlighter would count towards my 3 for 2 and also take off £10, line lift would be free and I'd get £5 off the remaining amount

So I thought I would only have to pay :

    2 x lipsticks @ 9.50 each = 19.00
    1 x highlighter @ 10.00 = free (342)
    Line lift @ 12.00 = free wys over £15.00

    total 19.00

Then till would deduct 10.00 for highlighter voucher = 9.00 and then £5.00 off for ACM No7 voucher

    So total 4.00 ?

BUT the line lift had expired (21st April - yesterday). SA wouldn't let me use highlighter as 3rd item in 3 for 2 as it was free

So in the end I got another lipstick, so my final purchase was :

    2 x lipsticks @ 9.50 each = 19.00
    1 x lipsticks @ 9.50 each = free (342)
    1 x highlighter @ 10.00 = free (When you buy another No7 product)

SA let me use the highlighter voucher and £5.00 off for ACM No7 voucher, so
    total to pay was £14.00

Not bad I suppose for 3 lipsticks and highlighter but somehow I still feel I got 'ripped' off. It works out to about just £3.50 for each product but still miffed I didn't get my preferred combo (above) for £4, even without the line lift.

And as promised, I can report back that Maidenhead did have a SEL for the berry bags at 32p, but not one in sight. Also none of the nivea triple lipglosses others have managed to get.

Don't know why but I feel Mr B got the better of me today, and I don't like it. Never mind you live and learn (and I got a £5 skincare voucher, which I immediately used to get an Olay face wash for 86p). HTH
