husband left family home May 2008 - has recently bought himself another home and has another partner.

However i am not sure i can actualy stay in the family home much longer (another story) can anyone offer any advise re CG when people seperate.
and house sold. If husband has another residence is he liable to CG, if i were to move to my mums and not using my share to buy another house (at the moment) would i have any liability

As you have lived in the house for the whole period of ownership, you will not be liable to CGT on sale.
