.........come on Louise, you are good with numbers so why in Gods name does it seem so complicated.

When you do understand it, you can try to explain it to me :D

OK Spudly, you are on. Just talking to OH mate who stayed overnight and last month he made over £300 from the intro offers and cashback.

I am determined this time to get the hang of it.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Thanks Toto - I'm really gutted, it was a gorgeous colour...

(kidding, of course I don't care about the lipstick really :rotfl: only that she's okay......although it actually WAS a gorgeous colour!)

Keeping my fingers crossed that you hear soon.

Get used to it honey, give it a few years and you'll never have a lipstick which is totally yours anyway. I usually spend my morning going through the girls room to find my clothes, make up, hair stuff and anything which is clearly 'theirs' but just happened to be in my bag.

:rotfl: I think you are spot on - Natasha is obsessed with lipsticks, she loves wandering round with my handbag on her shoulder, and yesterday I was tidying away some shoes, and she put on my sparkly platform sandals with 3 inch heels and walked round the bedroom in them (not quite as impressive as it sounds, because her feet are so small she was only treading on the flat bit, not the heel - but still! :D).

When I put her clothes on in a morning, she says 'ooooh pretty' if she likes what I've chosen, and she's always trying to root through my drawers and run off with jewellery etc.

I can't turn my back for a second - but at least I know she's going to be a proper little girly girl! :A

_pale_ Well so much for my nice, stress free day. Natasha disappeared into the kitchen (with my bag, but I didn't notice), and went very quiet - I went to check on her and she was sitting drawing on the freezer with my lipstick, and next to her on the floor was an empty strip of paracetamols. It was ripped, so there were only 6 empty spaces, but I knew it had at least 2 in....but as there were 6 empty spaces, and I was in a panic, I couldn't be sure she hadn't eaten six.

I rang NHS Direct, they told me it was unlikely to be dangerous but as 6 would be a very high dose for her size, I should take her to A&E.

Rang Stu in tears and he came straight down, we got in the car, and that's when I found the other bit of the ripped packet in my bag, with the 2 remaining paracetamols safely inside. :o (I remember now that there were only 2 in there and I'd stuck them in my bag when I went out on Friday in case my back started hurting while I was out......but I'd forgotten that while I was in blind panic mode). I also realised that she hadn't been in the kitchen long enough to take 6 tablets, hide the ripped off bits of foil from the packets, eat them all without gagging or vomiting and removed all traces from her mouth and face. She was in there for a maximum of 2 minutes, and had obviously spent that time destroying my lipstick and decorating the freezer.

So I feel like a crap parent for letting her get hold of a bag containing tablets in the first place, an idiot for wasting NHS Direct's time, and generally pretty guilty. :(

I suppose one good thing to have come out of it is that me and Stu are on speaking terms again. :o

    afternoon.

Had a walk in the park with Charlie and really need to get my head down and earn some money..........sigh.....

Snags - that's what NHS Direct is there for. Unfortunately, it wasn't there when at 2 I decided to find the rat poison behind my Mum's washing machine and have it smeared all round my mouth when she found me...........
