Can't open Halifax Fixed Web Saver

I get this message:

Fixed rate Web Saver application ineligible

Unfortunately you cannot continue with this fixed Web Saver application for one or more of the following reasons:

You do not meet our age requirements
You already hold the maximum number of variable or fixed rate Web Saver accounts we allow
You do not currently hold a variable Web Saver account (This is a requirement, as on maturity one of the options is to roll over funds into your variable rate WebSaver)
You have insufficient funds in your account to fund the new Fixed Web Saver (Min £500)

Why is this? I meet all the requirements listed, so I don't understand why it won't let me open it. Anybody else have this problem?

My sister had this problem and had to give them a call. Though she phoned her branch as they had set everything up for her in branch. System was showing too many web savers. It was sorted within the day.

This seems to be a good number to get through on for online 08456022757. I tried to open a fixed web saver and it crashed taking my money out of my account and not setting up the fixed account. I got sorted calling that number very quickly and had zero wait to speak to someone. Apparently another postcode was added to my account details and the system locked it into a holding account until it was sorted.

Hope you get it sorted. Halifax seems to have a lot of gliches online lately but there seems to be a big customer service drive so it should be less painless.
