Melting chocolate other than cooking chocolate?

Cooking chocolate seems to have gone up in price so I was wondering if I could melt some Galaxy chocolate to make those chocolate Easter nests...what do you think?

Do you mean cornflake buns? If so, I never use cooking chocolate as I don't like the taste and just use whatever chocolate is on offer. Often that is galaxy and it melts as well as any chocolate would.0

I get the cheapest bars of eating chocolate from Lidle, 70% cocoa for 79p. and use it for icing cakes.0

Cooking chocolate isn't even very high in cocoa; it's mainly fat and sugar. I agree - use own-brand chocolate

I use Mr S's Basic milk or dark chocolate for baking. Only 27p per bar (and it's a reasonable size) and actually tastes nice. I never buy baking chocolate as it's rank.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife
