    1) yes you will get the points
    2) No, you won't get points on a BT, only on purchases.

    Hi,

I am interested to know peoples experience with booking hilton hotels with clubcard vouchers. What i want to know is how you go about doing this? How to get quotes? Can you book deluxe rooms or even suites? Can you stay for 1night only or does it have to be a leisure break weekend?.....And Finally would you say they that vouchers are good value for money at the Hilton hotel say compared to other hotels(Marriot) and other deals. There is a suite at a Hilton in London i am interested in for one night and its rate is £350 a night and i have £100 in cc vouchers so hopefully this would be enough?

...Also has anybody used their vouchers for planet hollywood.....is this good value? and how do you go about paying for planet hollywood with cc vouchers???

    Sorry its alot of questions?
    Thanks though

hi, if you go to tesco deals online and look at the hotels, at the hilton page if you go to the bottom and download the additional info it tells you what you need to know. you have to send off your clubcard vouchers and get hilton deal vouchers first.you can stay for one night on a fully flexible b/b.you have to phone for the priceon the number they give you. i haven't used them for planet hollywood but i have used them for restaurants.again you have to send off for the deal vouchers and just pay with them.so instead of paying £15 for a meal you would be paying £3.75. there are a few restaurants you can use them at in london. but go to additional info at the bottom of the pages and you will get all the extra info you need.
    hope this helps.

thanks for the info..regarding points on bal transfer...i thought that it might have been that.....
do people get a lot of points with the credit card then...
say if we used our credit card to do our weekly shop at tescos min...of £60.00
    plus petrol min of £20.00

so min spend at tesco £80.00 how many extra points would we get for using the credit card ? and do you get a seperate statment of points or does it all go one the main one you get.?
sorry if these questions sound silly or if the have been asked before, but i am trying to get the max.. amount of club card points as poss...as we are totally up the creek with out a financial paddle, and desperately need work done to the house, so tescos club card points hopefully will pay for a new kitchen to start with.....

in trying to get extra points, i dont want to spend more than i would have anyway, as that would just be losing the plot....

what have other people bought with their deals....?

i expect this question has allrady been asked, its just a thought...

i have noticed that tescos as are now saying that you can top up your club card and use it like a christmas savers club....

so my thought/question is .if you top up your card...can you x that by 4 when you convert to deals...? or will that be a sperate bal ?

i think i might add some money to find, but will not find out until christmas...i think it might be worth a go as i will not be losing out....

any ideas this this would work...in theory it should...

You couldn't last christmas...your christmas savings and your clubcard balance were 2 separate accounts.

you'd collect any extra points on items with an extra points offer, but they don't give you a till spit anymore (for 150 extra points).

    Christmas Savers:
Clubcard Vouchers are our way of saying thank you for shopping with us, which is why we've introduced the Clubcard Christmas Saver.

You will receive your quarterly Statements as usual - the only difference is that we'll hold back your Clubcard Vouchers until your November Statement - so you can put even more towards the cost of your festive shopping.

You can boost your Christmas savings with up to £360 each year by 'paying in' at the till.

Simply top-up your balance at the checkout with cash, credit or debit card. Plus, we will give you Bonus Vouchers based on the top-ups you've made, combined with your Clubcard Points collected by the time your November Statement is issued.

the above was on the tesco clubcard page...so what do you think...
i think it might be possible...as it is the same card account....

It isn't possible. All the website info says to me is that your vouchers won't be sent to you Until November...if you're saving for something big, the later date on the voucher may help you. The extra money you put in will not be available to convert to deals...they are a separate thing, for which you may gain some extra cash to spend instore in the form of "bonus vouchers".
