If you collect tesco clubcard points, you can send off for tickets, its for the Original Tour
'Enjoy the best of London's sights with a hop-on, hop-off open-topped bus sightseeing tour and free Thames cruise.'
Went last year and it was very good, the boat trips are fun and the commentary is usually light-hearted and funny.
  • I have £40 worth of clubcard vouchers but for 2 adults and 2 kids will cost £72 in total so hopefully can find something to cut back on the £32.

If you go to the side of Victoria station near the "oxford tube" coach stop there are 2 or 3 companies that run from te stops there, just haggle.

Ive never paid more than a 10er each for seats on these.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    I don't understand your post,

    2 adults @ £22 = £44
    2children@ £10 = £20
    Total =£64
You have £40 worth of vouchers, For this offer £5 of vouchers = £20 deals tokens. Therefore £15 vouchers = £60 deals tokens. As its not a ‘buy in full’ you can pay the remaining £4 in cash on the bus.

Actually I think I understand you, if you have £40 of vouchers they are worth £160 worth of deals, not just £40.
The clubcard vouchers are worth 4 times as much if you exchange them for deals tokens.
    Try looking here,

you may even find that you can use your other vouchers to buy entrance tickets for other things.
We went to London last year and I brought Hop on tickets for 4 adults and also £50 of days out tickets which actually cover loads of venues.
Also, if you don't look like using them before the 6 months is up, you can send them back (or phone , I forget) to tesco and they will put them back onto your account.:T
You can also buy your deals tokens over the internet now, which saves time and postage, I have sent mine by registered mail in the past, and its cost me extra. (but was worth it for peace of mind when sending the equivalent of £200 through the post.)

You could also look here, for some cheap bus tickets,

Hope you sort your day out and have a good time.
  • I had £10 of vouchers which makes £40 of deals. With the deal tokens you cant take advantage of the online ordering and price reductions and have to pay the full whack. £24 x 2 adults + £12 x 2 kids = £72 to pay less £40 deal tokens = £32 cash. Also on checking terms it says cant use to pay for a family ticket. I did find a promo code ATOC2009 which brings down adult price to £16.80 from £24!!! But again cant use deal tokens. Never heard of ATOC - says needs to bring staff ID - you could claim you forgot it!!!;)
  • After I'd written all that I wondered if that was what you meant.:o
Hope you get it all sorted, I could just keep going back and looking and looking,

To be honest, we didn't make the most of our hop on tickets. We went a few stops then got off at the Thames and went on the River Boat,(included in the price) as we had tickets to use at the Tower of london, (which to be honest we wished we'd used them on something else) Caught the boat back, My son wanted to go on the Eye, (If you need the loo, go here at the booking office, they're free, most public ones are 20p:eek:)
I had expected to hop on the bus again, but the buses don't run all evening and our time was running out, we walked across West Minster Bridge, down Horse Guards and The Mall and back to Victoria Bus Station.
I think I expected to do too much in the given time and you could just sit on the buses all day. But having paid for it with my tesco vouchers, I wasn't too gutted.

Just one word of warning though, I went with a friend recently to the theatre, walking back through Covent Garden we stopped for a few seconds to watch a street show, walked around the corner to the tube, went to get my ticket, the zip was open on my bag and my purse gone!! :mad:The rest of out free time was spent finding the police station, which wasn't far away, if you knew how to find it (we didn't) reporting it, and importantly cancelling all my cards. They have a list of all bank 'phone numbers at the police station.

The thing was, all my senses were telling me to watch my bag I was thinking, 'I must stuff my purse right down to the bottom of my bag,' and (probably when my purse was being nicked) 'I'm glad I bought this bag, its big and deep, got a zip and a flip over strap to make it extra safe.' I am usually so safety concious and careful, but I overroad it and ignored my own common sense:mad:. Won't do next time my head is talking to me though!!
Take care and have a lovely day,
