It's well worth a visit, the house is magnificent and the gardens are absolutley lovely, the children love the cascade fountain. :j(Take towels)

There is also a farm and adventure playground which cost extra, but are sited so that if you don't tell people about them they won't know .

Watch the film The Duchess before going and then enjoy seeing costumes etc, from the film and even an original letter, written in blood by the Duchess herself!!!!:eek:
