Fed up with missing ansaphone messages. What's the best digital ansaphone system?

It's time to upgrade our ailing phone system.
I'm fed up of my ansaphone messages being lost or deleted on our old tape ansaphone! It's a bit embarrassing.
Is there a system out there that stores ansaphone messages in different places for different people?
e.g. Press 1 to leave a message for x
Press 2 to leave a message for y
At the moment my messages get listened to by others, put on scraps of paper sometimes, forgotten about and then remembered days later, by which time I'm in trouble over something.
I need to have a system with 3 cordless phones, SMS texting and of course a digital ansaphone.
All suggestions very welcome.

If you use BT you could just use the 1571 option then you dont have to get a new answer machine..."The time is always right to do what is right"0

Thanks ahll,
I had thought about 1571, but unfortunately doesn't get around the problem of people deleting the messages. Also means you have to dail the number every time you come in to see if you've got messages.
Think I will be going for an interim measure of a digital answering machine from Ebay. Think I might stand more chance with a record time of 36 minutes as there's no reason to delete messages for a while. At least that way I can listen to them.
I'm only glad I didn't rush into anything......I didn't realise that you could buy a landline and VoiP phone in one unit. So more reviewing needs to be done about free calls over the internet before I buy any brand new hardware.0
