If only they did discounts on mowers :(.

Looking for an inexpensive electric mower for a small-medium garden. Even a reasonably OK secondhand one would do fine. G

They still have a few reduced ones are great universal

    http://www.greatuniversal.com

You still get 20% off your first order and about 4% quidco cash back.

They have a Flymo for £53 works out about £35 with discounts. They also have a couple of packs with strimmers etc, but not very good makes. They did have a qualcast one but that sold out a couple of months ago.

Thanks for that ma6jrp. Yes, I'm aware of those but didn't purchase because the reduced ones didn't look too good - the Flymo 340 being the best of the lot.

I just missed out (only a couple of days later!) on that Qualcast you mention because I (foolishly) thought I could get it cheaper :( G

I did get in the order in on time for the Qualcast, but as I lived in a new house they deleted the second half of my postcode (as there system thought it was invalid) so the delivery driver didn't know where to deliver it.

I missed the messages they left at home on 1571, and they sent if back and sold it to someone else without contacting me for a re-delivery. Even though I had paid for it and I phoned them on the day it must of been returned to the warehouse once I found out what had happened. It never re-appeared on the website.

So not too impressed, I ended up getting the Flymo for the same price as the Qualcast, but the reviews on the web don't seem half as good as the Qualcast. Argos did have the Qualcast for £49 at the same time, so that offer may come back on again. The Argos model is also newer being the 3400 instead of 34. Wished I'd just bought it from Argos in the first place....

I haven't tested the Flymo but for £35 i can't complain too much even if it lasts a couple of years as its £80 in argos (just reduced from £99).

The Garden Factory always seem to have some discounts and bargains - they've got 50% off garden furniture at the moment, plus I got a mailing this week previewing their clearance sale that starts soon and had loads of extra half price offers. Checkout https://www.thegardenfactory.co.uk
