bio-oil or cheaper alternative for facial scarring?

I had a few large moles removed from my face. Majority were cut off then laser cauterised (sp?) to stop them bleeding. The last one wasn't lasered but they used silver nitrate instead to stop the bleeding and its still healing (its gone black as expected).
Has anyone else had this sort of thing done? I was told not to wear make up and have been cleaning them day and night with saline, no creams etc yet but once the skin is healed enough I was wondering about using bio-oil or something similar? My skin is looking VERY stressed. I'm not allowed to wash my face in case some of the detergent annoy my wounds. So using facial wipes and baby wipes to clean my skin then a light moisturiser but avoiding my wound areas.
Any suggestions of what to use once its healed would be greatly appreciated. Especially the cheaper options!

have you asked advice from the doctor, I wouldn't take a risk on suggestions. I haven't tried it myself but have heard that pure rosehip oil helps in healing scars. I would do a bit of research on this and be very careful where you buy your oilsGrocery challenge year budget €3K Jan €190 Feb €225 Mar €313 Apr €202 May €224 June €329 July €518 Aug €231Sep €389 Oct €314 Nov €358 Dec €335 Total spent €3628

I'm getting conflicting advice from the doctors (at hospital) including my gp not being helpful at all. So thought I'd ask here.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. How about buying vitamin e capsules and cutting them in half, and putting the oil on those areas? I used bio oil for a long time, no improvement to my scars whatsoever
It goes away with time, though. At the time, I remember buying so many products and wasting my money. I wish I hadnt. Make sure u take a multivitamin.

personally I think Bio Oil isn't that good - I used to think it was amazing but I think it had something to do with the £20 price tag and thinking "cos its expensive it must be good"
I second the Vitamin E suggestion and my latest love, Weleda Wild Roade intensive Facial Oil capusules - I got big scare recently right in the middle of my forehead from picking a spotHowever this stuff is making it dissapear fast.
