How many people have/are making money off websites they have made, be it a eshop selling something, or a club....
I currently have a few websites on the net, that are making a little bit of money, but not much. How successfull have others been in the money making quest?
I have a few ideas in my head of other websites I would like to create, and I can see them kicking off, but its just getting the time to make the site and advertise it.

I am starting to build up some content on a web site and will try being an affiliate to other selling sites. If I can get enough hits, I'll look at producing some of my own downloadable products. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

Sounds like a clever kid! Saying that, i did used to have a mini-moto a few years ago, and finding parts for it in the UK was a nightmare!
Good on the lad is all i have to say!
I currently have a website which sells downloads, well i used to charge for them, but no one purchased them, so i now list them for free and get loads of downloads (may have to put the prices back up again)
I also have another website which has a paid subscription (car club) but i dont make any money off it as it all goes back into the club.
I'm in talks with a company here in the uk that offers me the opertunity to "drop ship" thier products, and i could sell the products on the different owners forums im on, as well as through a website im currently in the middle of designing.
There is a high profit margin in the goods i would be selling, so its a great oppertunity for me to make some money once i finish my student placement. I hopefully will not need to go looking for another part time job if it makes me enough money.James0 -

I sell Canvas Art which started out as a sideline to my graphic design business but has since taken over. Weve been lucky enough to have been featured on TV makeover shows and national magazines. We have 100s of designs which we print and build in-house and they can also be made into printed roller blinds which are not cheap but doing surpisingly well at the moment.
There are still people out there with money and willing to spend it on quality products.
I too have other ideas such as directory sites or selling childrens goods/gifts but I doubt they'll materialise!0 -
I have a site for my handmade jewellery, have made some money out of it, but not quite taking over the world yet.0

If you can generate the traffic, Adsense from Google can be a good money-maker depending on your niche. How many visitors does your car site get? Do you put advertising on it?0
