    500g strong white flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon sugar
    1 teaspoon dried yeast
    1 tablespoon oil
    about 300mls hand hot water.

Mix all together and knead for about 10 minutes. Cover the bowl with cling film or a damp cloth and leave to rise for an hour or so.
Push the air out of it and knead it briefly again before shaping and putting in a greased tin.
Cover with a cloth and leave to rise again for about 1/2 hour.
Bake in a hot oven (220) until it sounds hollow when taken out of the tin and tapped on the bottom.

I'm assuming you want a handmade recipe rather than one in the BM ;)

Try this thread - handmade bread. There are lots of delicious recipes there :D
