If you are able (and willing) to import any of these sales goods, remember that the saving includes the mail-in rebate. Check the T&Cs first, to check that the rebate is open to customers living outside the United States. I suspect many of them may not be.

And, I know it sounds obvious, but - DONT' FORGET TO MAIL IN THE RECEIPT, ETC, WITHIN THE REBATE PERIOD! It's so easy to forget. And do make sure you fulfil ALL the conditions for the rebate. Mail-in rebates are quite common in the States, but they are really picky about you fulfilling all the conditions.

You are missing the point!!

I wasnt suggesting you try and buy this particular item from amazon but just used it as an example of price difference in US and UK for the same item from the same company.

Why do we have to pay more than double the price? Amazons cost of purchasing the item or cost of the manufacturer does not change that much from country to country? Does it justify a 3/4 time price difference?

The ShopTheStates site looks like just what I'm after, Thanks alot. I'm after a few small toys from Amazon.com, and as they don't ship items like this to other countries the only other option I could find was eBay where they were atleast four times the price.

I'll wait till after 10th January, and give it a go.

Has anyone else used them in the past, how did it go?
