I almost placed an order with 7 Day Pharmacy, but stopped because the payment page doesn't look like it's secure (no padlock)... am I right, or is there something else I should be looking for?

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

Hi Oliveoyl,
I've had a look at the website you mentioned - it's a slightly different url address (7daychemist) but carries the same headline of 7 day pharmacy.
After checking the registration status on the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's web pages (https://www.rpsgb.org.uk), it does appear to be related to a registered pharmacy in Welling, but has not yet been confirmed as having a functioning website. So it's unlikely to be bogus as the consequences would be harsh for the pharmacy.
My personal view is it's an incomplete operation, the visa/mastercard logos at the foot of the page look pasted on & some sections of the site are empty.
Perhaps most importantly, there's no green cross logo (an approved badge for online UK pharmacies). The lack of secure https seems a symptom of this problem. There are plenty of alternative registered online UK pharmacies which will offer a good service - I've no vested interest in any of them as I work in a non-internet pharmacy.
Hope this helps0 -
Thanks very much for your reply and for looking them up (yes, it's 7daychemist... sorry, the title for it on Google is 7 Day Pharmacy). I think I'll give them a miss in favour of a fully functioning operation with secure payment server.TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
