Some of the higher end high street shops, like Coast do fab suits.
A jacket with detailing, like a wide scooped neck or 3/4 length sleeves with really wide legged trousers would look very up to date, and feminine.

Alternatively, look at early 1930s suits - masculine tailoring was very in then, but oh so stylish (Marlene Deitrich anyone?)

Or you could go for a regular suit or tux and add oversized floral corsages, ribbons, hats etc to soften the look a bit?
