  • Not sure if a xd memory card is the same as a sd one, but if its any help Lidl's are currently selling 256mb SD memory cards at £29.99 (they keep them in the office in case they get nicked) - ask at the checkout if they've any left

    Fuji 256Mb XD Card £33.99 at https://www.7dayshop.com.

Doesn't beat eBuyer as you have to add postage (£2.95), but there's always something else to buy at 7dayshop! ;) :-/ :-[

This price includes UK VAT, by the way.

Just thought ... The Fuji A340 normally comes with a 16Mb XD card thrown in, doesn't it?

    From 7dayshop's product description:

What is Supplied in the Box ?

    if you are really struggling
I have a fuiji 256 xd or a 128MB one (olympus I think) that I don't really need anymore. Bought it to take on holiday, filled it once and its been sitting unused since then.

Had a chat in Jessops the other day and they said that the price of memory will drop again after Christmas, so I'd wait if I could. 16 Mb is too little. 256 should be your minimum. You should also buy rechargeable batteries. Jessops are doing 6 AA batteries and charger for £10.
