i've just bought a laptop from currys-paid £459 instore and have now found the same model cheaper online from dixons, can i get the price matched or can i take the laptop back?

anyone know? thanks

I think they will allow you to take it back within 14 days with receipt if unopened. Then tell them you are about to buy from Dixons the same lappy, ideally have it on the purchase page of a browser on your phone, and Im sure they will then match (managers's discretion) it as there's commission to be had!!!

I had this same problem last week. I purchased a TV and a video camera from Currys in-store and when I looked on Dixons website upon my return home it was much cheaper.

I phoned the Currys store to enquire about price matching and was told that they do not price match Dixons. I asked if I could return the items for a full refund and was told that I could, aslong as the items wer still in the packaging (which they were).

I got a full refund and ordered from Dixons. Delvery was free and items arrived within two days. I also used voucher codes to get cheaper!

definately wont rush into buying without checking the web next time!
