I subscribe to a magazine called FRESH. It is a cookery magazine and very good. Inside this months issue (April 2006) there is an offer to try 3 issues for £1.00 (monthly cost normally 2.80).
You can either purchase the magazine and the offer is on page 85 or you can call the subscriptions hotline on 0845 145 0044.
"FRESH is a new food magazine for people who love food. Packed with new ideas, inspirational recipes and hints and tips from celebrity chefs - FRESH is irresistible."0 -

If you search for Scarlet the offer will show up ~ you need to go to their site which states that the first issue is £1 and then if you like it you will, 21 days later, receive the pleasure pack and your card will be charged with the full 12 months amount of £38.00. Otherwise you need to write/email and let them know not to send anymore.“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

I got a reply from 'Red':
"......Firstly please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience you have been caused in receiving your subscription gift. Unfortunately the stock has been delayed and we are still awaiting further deliveries. We do hope to despatch the gift within the next 28 days...."
I presume I can hold them to this...?0 -

This is an offer I just spotted and could not refuse.
Get 24 issues (2 years) of Maxim for just £9.99 , that is a massive £71.00 saving on the cover price. Plus, it is delivered to your doorsteps at no extra cost.
I can't confirm it yet but apparently, you get a free Maxim DVD as a bonus gift with your first issue.
You may cancel your subscription at the end of the 2 year subscription (or anytime in between) and you owe nothing. Cancelling with the publisher can be done online after using your password and account number that will be given to you after your registration. I have done it countless of times and like it a lot as you do not need to speak to an operator or call a call center and be put on hold for ages.
Here is the link, I forgot to put it on my first post:

I have yet to receive my first issue, please let me know when your issue arrives.
Thanks. :rotfl:Have A Nice Day!!

I just came to post what their response was, only to find you have beaten me to it lol! Their response to me said exactly the same thing as yours. I have e-mailed them back asking for confirmation that I will definitely get the gift, as their response is a little wishy-washy on the wording.
Strange thing is, they said that my mum won't be getting the Decleor gift (I signed her up for a gift subscription) so have also asked why that is the case, as if they are getting 'further deliveries' then surely all gift subscriptions should be fulfilled0
