Hi all,

My sister and I have A LOT of clothing / books / records to get shot of and are looking for a bit of money also, does anyone know where a 'decent' boot sale would be in the South Essex area on a Sunday, pref a lazy bones as well. We have bags of quite good quality stuff so dont want to go to one that is mainly antiquities really

Can anyone offer inspiration?

Not sure about lazybones type sale but the large boot sale at Nevendon roundabout, Basildon is always very popular
If you can check out Standard Recorder or Evening Echo or similar papers for details if you live in the area

Try googling 'carboot junction' and search your area, there's loads around essex, romford, basildon etc..

    Hi all,

Just wanted to bump this and ask if anyone knows if the Rettendon lazy bones boot sale is still running? Can't find it anymore on carboot junction, and as haven't done one there since last year, want to make sure they're still doing them.

They used to be open Bank hols as well so was considering pitching on Monday, or next Bank hol Monday..

    Any clue?

    Thanks,

  • If anyone is looking for a good bootsale in essex, there is a new one opening in Dengie. Called Dengie Manor country fair. Not only has it got a late start boot sale (10am for sellers) it has loads of stuff to do for the kids; pony rides, fun fair, quad bikes, inflatable assult course!
It starts from the 31st of May everyother sunday!

    I cant wait!
