Cosy, sweet-smelling bed linen.

Another one is to have a bath or shower, and pamper yourself all over with sweet (to you) scented body lotion then go straight to bed. The next night when you hop into bed it'll smell lovely even if you don't have a pre-bed bath.0

OOHH line dried every time for me, when it goes back on the bed it`s lovely.
Aussie - i just leave my lavender to dry on the shrub then pop down the garden with an envelope and pull the dried flowers straight off the stalks and put them in it.

If you want the scent to be a bit sweeter, you could add a vanilla pod to the lavender.0

I love line dried freshness too but I have a little mister bottle filled with lavender and vanilla, topped up with water and just give the bedding a few light mists if I need too (works for ironing too)Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

For our own bed, I also usually stick to sheets dried outside in the fresh air; But for the guest beds (we get people passing through regularly and sometimes at short notice) I always keep the beds made up just-in-case so the sheets can lose their freshness over time. I have invested in a packet of those fabric-conditioner sheets that people use in their tumble drier (I don't have a tumble drier) and slip a sheet in the guest bed. It is just remembering to take it out when someone actually arrives. I am also starting to put the odd sheet in the spare bedlinen that doesn't get used so often - it may not be as natural as lavender bags or essential oils, but it does keep its scent a lot longer."Remember that many of the things you have now you could once only dream of" - Epicurus0

you could try some essential oil drops on either kitchen roll, a dried baby wipe or even an old flannel/pillow case, and fold amongst the linen. Try and avoid any stains tho on your linen from the oils.
I often sprinkle a few drops of lavender essential oil on pillowcases especially if I have guests come to stay. So long as it is an essential oil and not a dilute fragrance oil it will not leave an oily mark or stain.
If I am ironing just before putting on the bed I lightly spritz with water containing some drops of lavender essential oils over the sheets and pillowcases as I iron.0
