    Hi

    Just a few ideas:

Have you got books you can sell on Amazon - the only thing is you have to wait for peope to buy things.

Car boots are a good idea for getting rid of clutter and making a few quid.

Is there anything in your budget that you can review for a few weeks.

Music magpie for selling CDs - you load your CDs on the site and they will offer you money for them.

Some people have tried matched betting - it's complicated and you really need to understand it before jumping in.

    Hi.
As others have said now is a really good time to do a carboot - particularly easter weekend.
Also if things are not suitable to sell on ebay you could try gumtree (for large items that need collecting etc)

Is there anyway you could do any one-off work? Perhaps helping friends/ family/ neighbours out with babysitting / decorating / gardening/ washing cars even. Any local businesses restaurants/ pubs where you could work a few shifts over the busy easter period? What about delivering leaflets or phone books? You could ring up the local chinese, indian and pizza places and offer to deliver menus for a small fee, if you deliver all at the same time you could make a reasonable amount for the amount of hours.

A friend of mine used to hang round the market when the stalls were being dismantled on Saturday afternoon and was often give £40 cash in hand for helping. I know this won't be suitable for you but wanted to give you an example.

Don't know what you financial situation is but are there any other bills/ expenses you could postpone for a month to free up the cash for this particular bill?

What sort of bill/creditor is this one? Is it possible you could offer £200 on this date and the remainder after 14days. This would at least buy you time.

    Good luck.

You need to get on to your elec supplier and ask to spread the payments out a bit. Get in there first, dont wait for them to chase you for the bill. Try and raise say £100 and ask to spread the rest over the next few months. Im sure they will be understanding.

Then you need to get to the bottom of such a huge bill! I take it thats for longer than a quarter?
