I'd recommend The Kees Hotel in Ballybofey. They usually do deals for sunday/monday.

I wouldn't be going to Donegal at present TBH:eek: Euro rate is muck:o

I had a nice mid week break in Enniskillen last year with the OH at the Manor House Hotel on Lough Erne, very reasonable for 2 nights B&B and 1 evening meal package, full use of swimming pool, sauna etc.... too in that price.

Lovely part of the country as well despite the weather:rotfl:
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:

Do you mean the county or Donegal town?
  • If it is the county I would stay clear of Bundoran. It is a dump. If you still must go, definitely avoid the Great Northern. If it is a four star hotel I will eat my hat. If they can call themselves a four star hotel, then my house must be five star.

I second Kees Hotel. We stayed there last year in Feb and it was really nice. But as Steveymp says the Euro rate is currently the downside.

You could take a big van loaded with alcohol with you and fund your trip that way:D save them poor Donegal ones having to rape and pillage our supermarkets for it:D
