Nappy Cake Question

Hi All
You have got me into the nappy cakes and I have managed to make my first one which is a one tiered pink one. I am quite happy with it and now want to wrap it in cello but each time I try (with several different types) I cant get the cello right. It doesnt seem wide enough? Is there somethign I am doing wrong is there a trick i dont know about?
It is wide enough on the corners but the side bits are just too short and it bunches the cake up so you cant really see the top of it?
Its making me think how on earth would I get a 3 tiered one wrapped?
