Affordable energy-saving golfball light bulbs - PLEASE????

We already have energy saving bulbs in our main lights (thanks to a lovely landlord who had put them in before we moved in ) but the lights that we have on most are lamps, that take SES golfball bulbs.

I want to replace them with energy-saving ones but can't find any that cost less than £7 EACH!!! :eek:

Does anyone know of any cheap stockists?

No problem purplebutterfly, changing over to energy saving lightbulbs certainly saved us money. Hope you save some money too.

Wilkinsons are very competitive on the prices of their energy saving lightbulbs. There is one we needed recently that costs £10 at B&Q but only £2 at Wilkinsons. :T

Sainsbury's are offering 5 for 50p on energy saving bulbs. Don't need any so didn't look closely at the power rating but at this price . . . . !

Thanks thefenman - I recently got some of those at Sainsburys.
Wilkinsons is competitive for the awkward energy saving light bulbs (not the bayonet stick variety) but more ones like candle bulbs etc. The Sainsburys ones are ideal for security too (I use one on an outside light).
