my 3 year old dd has trod on one of those red waxey outer casing thingys of a baby bel cheese into my cream bedroom carpet:eek: it has left a horrible waxy red mark.
ive had a look on the indexed threads but couldnt find any suggestions to help me
can anyone give me any ideas how to get rid of this please?

Hmm - a brown paper bag placed over the top and ironed on a low heat with your iron should remove any waxy residue, but I feel the problem may be that the dye in the casing has stained, in which case I can only think of trying one of those stain devil type removers.

I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -
If no brown paper is to hand, I use a couple of pieces of kitchen paper folded over, turning it over every time you have melted some wax (don't reapply the same side), then change pieces of kitchen paper. Magpye might be right about the dye - but its definitely worth a go.
