Online Artwork...

I'm after some contemporary artwork which I want to buy as cheap as poss online. eBay seems to be a bit, well, random, so I want to know if anyone can recommend anywhere else.

I've got a 7m wall which is desperately in need of artwork on it to break it up a bit. I would prefer a black and white painting...

Can anyone recommend anything/anywhere/anyone?!!!!

Thanks in advance :)

There are some limited edition great prints on https://www.picturesonwalls.com that start at about £50.

Why not go to an art gallery and pick up a poster print? Even a massive one should be no more than around £25.
Treat others as you would like to be treated :A
  • why not do a little modern art of your own? You'll haev fun doing it and it will cost a fraction of the price.... I have have done 4 very large paintings of my own and at a cost of £20. I buy canvas from a local art shop, buy some 2x1 wooden from b&q or local wood shop for my frame , and buy acrylic paint in the colours i like at 89p each and just use your imagination to the rest. Its so easy and the results have been great as my friends have been asking for me to do theirs aswell, I suppose extra money to come there too.............

I would... but my artistic talents run to about the size of a postage stamp!! Plus, I wouldn't have the foggiest on where to start... what brushes / paints / etc etc!

Codswallop. Y'could easily do a reasonable impression of Pollock with little more than a pot of paint and a ladder!

If there are any colleges or unis near you that run fine art courses you might be able to buy one of the pieces in their end-of-year show or even comission something from one of their students. More expensive than a print but you'd get an original piece.

Also local Art Societies have regular exhibitions where you can pick up an original piece of art and also help an amateur artist fulfill their dreams!
    Born to shop;)
