its not deducting the discount from my basket, help! i have £23 worth of stuff in my basket. it has acknowledged the code but isn't taking £5 off???

Is it a valid code, are you a member of the parenting club? If yes are then you may be one of the few who the code does not work for. Take it out and put back in again to see if you can get it to work.
Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.

Yes I have tried both codes below which others have used. I am a member of the parenting club. The basket shows "promotions - parenting club £5 off when you spend £20" but doesnt take any money off.

    Damn.

I have just used PCBS22 for the S&G tote bag and it has taken it off so doesn't need to be off baby products. Thank you so much
  • Anyone having problems with the parenting code try this:
    Log out and clear cookies.
Register for Boots as a new e-mail address and register for the parenting club (your 'child' is less than two and you have another one on the way).
Log out and then back in.
Then code seems to work - well it did for me (£5 off convinced me it was a good bargain :) ).

I couldn't get the code to work either. I was using PCBS22 and am a member of parenting club but came up with the message £5 off £20 voucher but didn't show the discount either. Oh well never mind.
I've just ordered mine just now on-line and they are still in stock.
I've ordered store pick up so hope it works ok.
    Fingers crossed.
  • I placed the order anyway. Just rang customer services - they said it might be because I never activated my parenting club card in store - or some other rubbish...

They have given me a reference number. When i receive my order I need to call back with the ref number and they will refund the £5.

Why they cant just amend the order and take the right amount off me i'll never know. Useless.

    Same happened to me :(
Although I don't want to register with a new email as I remember reading that you could only have one email account per advantage card so I don't want to risk my stash of points! :o

Wins : McCains garden games set, 2xTickets to Alton Towers, Links of London friendship bracelet, 2xIdeal Home Show tickets, McFly album CD, Virgin Balloon flight for 2 with a case of ScrumpyJack cider and 2 ltd edition jackets, Powerboat racing experience, £50 Virgin voucher, Aerobie Pro flying ring & Rice Krispie squares, Tesco baby pack

I just tried to sign up as I didn't realise I'd registered already with my Advantage card, & it told me my card was associated with another account and asked me whether I wanted to switch my advantage card to the new email address, so I wouldn't worry.

I just signed up for the club & it said my registration will be pending for 4 weeks, but it still accepted the discount code when I checked out. I used PCBS22. When I signed up I filled out the pregnancy info, no kids (though I don't think it makes any difference tbh).

I can't get the paremnting code or the £5 off £50 spend code to work. Does anyone have another code? TIA
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time
