High-Street on the Market

I noticed a few days back that Shepherd's Bush Market in London sells new high-street clothing (Wallis, Oasis, House of Fraser) etc. cheaply. Might be handy if you need an interview or wedding outfit on a budget! Are there any other markets selling end-of-line stuff like this around?

Be careful about this- especially if you see actual current lines being sold- I used to work on the shop floor in fashion retail and we very often would have "snatches".
Snatches are so called as a group or team of people will plough into the store, take an armful of the nearest items on sale, and pack it into the back of a van, speed of and sell it.
It would happen about 8-10 times a year, each taking anything from £1000 to £5000 worth of stock, and unless we were wearing armour, we were advised to not interfere as they could be armed and we could get hurt (more like the company didn't want a lawsuit!!). Police would often be too late (did catch them once) but basically it is organized crime, and is a risk in more ways then one- you don't know what your funding when you buy stuff thats stolen, and the only people that get blamed are the shop assistants for apparently not spotting it soon enough to get the police there (words from head office here).
I'm not saying all street vender's are like that, but just be especially wary if you see current lines being sold.0 -
Wow! I did not know that. Some of the stalls had labels cut out, but others were tagged (though I hadn't seen them in stores recently). It's amazing that nothing was done to stop the gangs, though they had a point when it came with personal safety.0

Not always- criminals have been known to do this to prevent stores getting them nicked for theft being that there would be no real eveidence to the walking policeman.0
