I'd have this fat useless ugly old dog ... put down.
I was reading an article that showed expenses, and time in parliament, some of it was enough to make my blood boil, these lazy good for nothings are a waste of space.
How come some MP's can do the job for less than £50k a year, and be regular attenders, questioners and debaters. While others for example, Glenda Jackson, had over double this and was in hardly ever at all, and when in had done KCUF ALL. Bottom of the list was that BAR STEWARD, George Gallway ... what an absolute rekcuf .......:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

On a slight tangent, does anyone know how much the House of Lords costs us, and how do their expenses work?0

The worst part is the 'things can only get better' slogan/bollox they used in 97. Au contraire, i think you'll find that things could only have got worse.........
 And here we are........
How true. A large part of the reason New Labour came to power was the public's disgust with the Tory government's sleaze.
Yet in retrospect it was naive to expect any better of Labour. It's not a matter of party. There are decent politicians to be found in all parties (eg Simon Hughes, Vince Cable and Frank Field) just not enough of them.
But the real problem is the system. It's patently absurd to have a system in which MPs vote on issues affecting their pay and benefits.
I doubt that it would be any different if civil servants, doctors, teachers or anyone else were able to determine their own level of pay. Such decisions have got to be taken out of their hands before any further damage is done.0

She HAS done something wrong - She signed a claim for movies and !!!!!!. The plug was not necessary for ministerial duries. Unless she has had an official bar-b-q (I'd hate to see the food bill if her and Presott were there!), the patio stuff is not permissable.
I think we all know that most of this was within the rules, sort of, but the rules seem to have been written for Honourable Members, and not a bunch of self-serving money-grabbing parasites. Maybe a bit of contrition, acceptance that this fails the 'Court of Public Opinion', and admission that change is needed would go a long way. If they carry on as they are, I suspect that they may get a dose of Fred Goodwin justice.......0

Can't wait for the full list of expenses to be published in the summer (does anyone know exactly when?). A journo on the Guardian mentioned that some of the claims are awful and will cause a lot more outrage, for instance one MP who gave a quid to a charity collection and then tried to claim it back against expenses! Journo seemed to think that several labour MP's would be lucky to keep their jobs past the summer (and despite being a lefty paper she said the labour MP's had been by far the worst and most cynical in abusing the system).0

I think I heard on Radio 5 that a "senior cabinet minister" told their political journalist, John Pienaar, that the full list could spell the end of several careers.0

This is a brilliant point and you should post this on all the MPs websites .0
