    I have to say that I have never heard of it in an accountancy context, so I have just looked it up. It is more of a financial advisory course and would not be relevent in an accountancy practice, as you are not there to provide advice per say on that sort of thing. A large company would have their own financial advisor - accountants go in to audit company accounts and do management and financial accounts for smaller businesses, rather than provide advice on financial products.

    However, it would show to a potential employer that you have a good head for figures and that sort of thing. I have never, in over 5 years of doing this, met a candidate with that qualification, so am possibly not the best person to advise. Sorry I can't be of more help.

    I worked for the MOD for 14 years and they paid for me to do my HNC and then AAT.
